About me

I have been an outdoor instructor for 10 years now, teaching rock climbing, Alpine, Sea kayaking and hiking, along with many personal adventures, gear testing gigs and community involvement in the outdoor sectors.

I wanted to collect my adventures, thoughts, and creative outlets into one spot and share something hopefully of value or of as little interest as you could gather from a few words and pictures on a screen.

What Is Your Expertise

I would consider myself an expert in helping people understand the fundamentals of an activity like climbing or sea kayaking, turning everyday tasks into challenges to be completed, and observing and growing people’s strengths.

Current Occupation

I train other outdoor guides on their first steps into the industry and instruct mainly adults in Alpine environments and skills related to the New Zealand mountains and rock climbing.
